Currently Seeking Landowners for:

Bullfrog Management Project

We’re kicking off a pilot project to manage American Bullfrogs across the South Fork Trinity—an invasive frog that eats native species. Do you have a bullfrog management plan or pond overrun with bullfrogs?
Let CFC help you out.

Partner with Us

Cannabis for Conservation (CFC) partners with cultivators, ranchers, timberland owners, and other rural land stewards to implement on-the-ground restoration projects across Northern California. We secure competitive grants from state agencies and private foundations and use those funds to improve water quality, restore forests, conserve wildlife, and build resilience on working lands.

From road repairs and culvert upgrades to erosion control, forest health treatments, and native plant revegetation, our projects are designed to deliver long-term ecological benefits while supporting the people who care for the land.

Landowners can let us know if they are interested in future restoration opportunities by completing our Restoration Interest Form. Sharing your goals and site information helps us identify potential project areas as we design future proposals and pursue new funding.

By joining our interest list, you’ll be among the first to hear about upcoming opportunities and may be considered for projects that provide access to technical expertise, restoration planning, and implementation resources that would otherwise be difficult to secure independently.

How It Works

CFC secures grant funding
We apply for competitive grants to support restoration activities such as road repairs, culvert upgrades, erosion control, forest health treatments, and habitat restoration.

We identify interested landowners
Through surveys and calls for interest, we learn about your property, land management goals, and potential restoration needs.

Partnerships are built
If a proposed project aligns with available funding and program requirements, CFC may work with selected landowners to bring technical expertise, planning support, and restoration crews to the site.

Timelines vary
From initial outreach to implementation, projects can take 2–4 years, depending on funding cycles, permitting, and agency processes.

If you are a cultivator, rancher, timberland owner, or rural land steward interested in future restoration opportunities:

This form is not an application for a specific project. It helps us understand landowner interest and identify potential matches for future funding opportunities. All information is kept confidential and used internally by CFC for planning purposes.
